Today celebrity stylist June Ambrose took us back to her Juniverse as she styled Shanna Moakler for her NY Launch party of her new cosmetic line, Smoak (named after herself).
Check out the exclusive behind the scene details below!!! In the midst of fashion week June Ambrose was able to take a break to indulge in the mineral makeup provided by Shanna. However, she made sure to attend the event in a very stylish ensemble. I mean it is still fashion week after all!! June wore an over sized Alexander Wang tuxedo kimono jacket complimented with a very stylish pair of Chanel pants. For her accessories she wore a pair of black Charlotte Olympia wedges and an Albertus Swanepoel hat to top off the very stylish unique ensemble.
Shanna was the life of her party as she wore a pleated cream dress with a black sheer top by Cut 25 and fierce shoes by Aperlai. Aside from Shanna's impeccable beauty, June made sure the ensemble made Shanna stand out from the crowd giving her a take charge but still fun statement for her launch!
During the launch we were able to mingle amongst each other and was able to get an exclusive with Shanna about Smoak! When asked who her make up line was geared towards, Shanna responded, "It's for young teens, and older women with maturing skin. I wanted it to be healthy for your skin it has SPF, its paraben free and has vitamins." She doesn't recommend this but also said you can eat her makeup because its that good for you.
One of our favorite products from her new line is her lip glosses. Appropriately titled Pink Kisses this sparkling liquid lustre is a must have. The gloss can be worn alone or added with your other favorite lip color. If you like sparkle and shine you're going to love this lip gloss. Another favorite was her eye poppin' red Micro Bubble Lipstick titled Micro Red.
As far as new projects Ms. Moakler is working on pageants, specifically with Miss Nevada prepping her for Miss USA set to premiere on NBC on June 3rd. She also has a new reality show in the works coming out in the next couple of months. NYC should expect a return from Shanna in continuation of promoting her new makeup line Smoak. Styled By June is set to launch March 19, 2012. Within the upcoming series we can expect to see celebrities such as Jaleel White, Da Brat, Michelle Williams, and Trina just to name a few made over to be 'styled by June'! We cant wait to see the many styles she has in store for us within the forthcoming episodes!!
