On November 5, 2011 the Anonymous hacker group are planning to shut down Facebook calling it Operation Facebook. Recently they took to YouTube to send a video message out warning Facebook when and why they plan on attacking the site. I don't know if Facebook is taking this warning seriously but according to "Anonymous" they should. This isn't the first time they've sent out a threat and followed through. Bank of America, PayPal, and eBay know far too well these hackers are no joke. Back in July (2011) Anonymous went after PayPal because they criticized WikiLeaks and asked thousands of members and supporters to publicly boycott the company. Due to the Operation PayPal it effected their parent company eBay causing them to lose $1 Billion. According to the hacker group they claim shutting down Facebook will be for our own good.
