At Jimmy at The James Hotel in Manhattan last night, 50 Cent hosted a celebration for the launch of his new headphones, SYNC by 50. As the CEO of SMS Audio, 50 explained that he developed headphones that would compete with Dr. Dre's Beats by Dre because, "I want people to hear music the way I hear it initially.” And we hear you 50!
Throughout the flashy event, 50 brought up potential signees to his label G-Note Records. The guy that he has his eye on is one who we would've never thought of--DJ Pauly D from "Jersey Shore."
“I call him ‘the bridge.' He’s going to be something between what you would get from a DJ Khaled or a DJ Drama and what you would get from David Guetta.”
Awesome words from 50! Maybe these headphones associated with Pauly D could be great promotion for the rapper to reach many more audiences! Smart thinking!
