We've all been there. When you get asked out on a date by the guy that you've had your eye on for a while, you want to look your BEST on the first date. Well, before you pile on the foundation, bronzer and eyelashes, WWMD says that looking like a perfect 10 could be bad business for you and your (hopeful) man's future.
Some dating experts think that by looking "too stunning" on a first date could raise unrealistic expectations of yourself by your man. When you open the the door looking like Rihanna, the guy can't help but get nervous when he wakes up next to Jawana(man).
So their suggestion to you beautiful women is to bring it down a notch on that first date. Instead of a looking the full out 10..perhaps a 7 is reasonable. You'll still look gorgeous while allowing him to appreciate a lot of your natural features. So in the future, when you really decide to spice things up with your makeup and clothes, he will be beyond appreciative of how well you "clean up."
This also makes those "morning afters" not so scary. Instead of turning over to the opposite side of the bed as he whispers good morning with fright in his voice, maybe you'll get a kiss on the forehead followed by a "Good morning beautiful."
