Über Goodies: The Weeknd Drops New Mixtape ‘Thursday’ ft. Drake

The Canadian-based R&B singer has finally released his second mixtape 'Thursday' after his website crashed due to all of the traffic from fans attempting to download the album on the actual release date. The new mixtape is a part of a trilogy that includes House of Balloons (March 2011), Thursday and Echoes of Silence, which is said to be released later this fall.

I absolutely love the smooth, chill vibe The Weeknd gives in every track. It makes it that much sweeter that he has teamed up with lyrical genius Drake. Yep, Drizzy Drake. It only makes sense that the Toronto natives link up and rock our worlds on one nine track mixtape, right?! You can imagine my excitement back in May 2011 after Drake tweeted:
"Studio with @theweekndxo...young kings"

I wonder if the dynasty these two kings were creating happens to be "The Zone" ft Drake which is proposed to bring a new breed of fans
for the duo.

Never heard of the Indie-styled singer? The Weeknd has remixed the buzz worthy "Trust Issues" by Drake as well as created numerous popular tracks including "What U Need," "Party and After Party" and "High For This," which is featured in the promo of the television series 'Entourage.'

You can download Thursday at http://the-weeknd.com/ and tell us what you think the future is like for this 21-year old sensation!
