Last night Beyonce continued her NYC 4 nights intimate concert series at the Roseland Ballroom. Plenty of celebs were spotted Clive Davis, Trey Songz, The Dream, Diddy, Big Sean but the group that made some scratch their heads was MaryMary. Why are they at a Beyonce concert some wondered?! The gospel duo tweeted last night "Sitting n Roseland n NYC about to see Beyonce".
Many fans responded back in a positive light joking saying she [Beyonce] is about to take y'all to church! However, other fans felt the current Queens of Gospel shouldn't be in attendance. One tweeter in particular told them directly they should stop tweeting about secular artist and in response the duo told her she can simply unfollow.
I can understand why some followers found it a little odd that these women would attend a secular artist concert however, these women are human and gospel artist and even Christians enjoy other music besides gospel too! Doesn't mean they're bad people. Maybe its just Queen Bey is sooo good in concert that even the Queens of Gospel has to see it for themselves. Regardless of the reason why they attended let them enjoy their lives. Its those very judgemental reasons that turn some people off from the Christian community putting up a front that all Christians are perfect which they are not. It seems some fans blew it out of proportion its not like they were spotted at a strip club taking back shots.
