The hilarious and outspoken NBA analyst Charles Barkley has sparked an interesting idea on just what he is thinking of doing with his current salary. Due to the NBA lockout, Barkley feels that technically, he is not doing any work. On “The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000, the former player said that he doesn’t want to take money for not working, so he’s been thinking of simply giving it away! Say what?!
He told hosts, “I haven’t told anybody, but I’m actually—believe it or not—I’m leaning toward donating it to charity. I don’t think it’s cool for me to take money I haven’t earned.”
Wow! How awesome is that? Although Barkley is known for his great philanthropy, I am sure that this act would take the cake! Literally! What do you think of Charles Barkley’s idea? Do you think analysts should continue to get paid for their "work" during the lockout?
