I recently stumbled upon a new accessories designer label called: Cold Picnic! The label was created by two partners named Phoebe Sung and Peter Buer! They were inspired to create the label in 2010 after they spent the summer going through various books dealing with African textiles, ancient cave paintings, Native American history, and 1970s arts & crafts. Their accessories are all hand made and created from objects of the past.For example, their 2011 Spring collection were all made from scrap leather from a local bird-toy factory and vintage chains and findings!
Cold Picnic is their attempt to carry on the tradition of storytelling through symbols.
