After not performing at the Michael Jackson tribute in Wales this past weekend, rumors began to buzz over Chris’ whereabouts. Rumors had it that due to his previous criminal record that Breezy was banned from attending the concert!
According to TMZ, Chris' rep confirmed that he was in fact invited to perform at the tribute but had prior obligations due to his F.A.M.E. tour.
"His previously booked domestic F.A.M.E. tour concert dates didn’t allow him to accept the honor and therefore he never planned to go to the UK. He was not banned."
Chris was seen performing in Tampa, Charlotte, and Virginia Beach this weekend which pretty much clears up those rumors! Although he wasn’t able to give a formal tribute this weekend, we all remember his many impromptu performances dedicated to the King of Pop.
