Über Talk: Weaved Up - Time For A Change

Weaves, extensions, lacefronts, are such a big part in the beauty world. There's the good, the bad, and the ugly. And we're just trying to give all the weave-wearers a good rep. Not everyone who wears extensions are bald, and not all the so-called 'natural' folks are natural. (You would be surprised) Besides, people of all races, our favorite celebrities, and fashion icons always add extra pieces! So why can't we?! Here are some ways on how weave changes things... Take a peek:

- Allows Experimentation
With just a little needle and thread, you can try any style your heart desires without committing or damaging your real hair. Want to try a short, cropped cut? Blonde streaks? Try it with a weave. And if you don’t like it, you can take it right out. Genius.

- Protects Your Real Hair
If you took out your weave to discover locks as long as Rapunzel’s, you’re not alone. By keeping your hair braided (not so tightly) in cornrows under sew-in weaves, you give it a rest from the daily tugging and heat applications which cause breakage.

- Helps You Enjoy Your Vacation
Take it from Beyoncé. There’s nothing like rocking a wet and wavy weave when yacht chilling en route to a tropical island alongside your man. The weave gives you the freedom to swim, dance and, err… perform other physical activities (wink!) without damaging your style.

- Gives You Swag
When it comes to hairstyles, most women I know get bored easily. The ability to change up your style and hit the streets with a glamorous brand new look gives you confidence like no other. Have you ever seen a girl out on the town on Saturday night rocking a fresh weave and feeling herself? Well, now you know why.
