Über Talk: Tyga Inspires Youth With R.O.A.R. Program
Young Money rapper Tyga has been on the go with the F.A.M.E tour (which includes Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland and T-Pain), but he feels that the work has does musically is not his only obligation. Tyga takes time to Reach Out And Represent (R.O.A.R.) with youth of every city he visits while on tour! How awesome is that?!
Tyga, along with affiliates of his organization, speaks about the difference between a job and a career, being a visionary, and what aspirations the youth had in mind.
On His Influence:
“A lot of kids are influenced by music so I just wanted to take my voice and that influence that I have on them already and just influence them to do other things. It's a lot of other outlets in life.”
On Being A Mentor:
“A lot of kids don't have a lot of mentor figures to look up to so they relate to some of these younger artists like myself and they live through us, kind of, and they look to us as their older brother or older sister or what have you.”
Everyone loves to see those with influence continue to empower young people! Great job Tyga!
